Note-
1	The shops or commercial establishments working without employee(s) are exempted from the act.
2	The fee mentioned above is for one-time registration only. Hence no renewal shall be required further.
3	There is a 50% additional fee of the total registration fee for getting exemption under section 5 & 8 under UP Shops and Commercial Establishment Rules, 1963 to open a shop/ commercial est. for 7 days a week.
4	The shops and commercial establishments (excluding shops or commercial establishments running without worker(s) which are already registered for five years or their renewals are due shall be renewed once on deposition of fee prescribed under sub-rule (2) of rules 2-A.
5	If an application for registration of a shop or commercial establishment is not received within the period specified under sub-section (1) of section 4-B of the Act, as the case may be. such registration shall be made only on payment of a late fee at the rate of one percent of the fee of registration per month or part thereof, in addition to the prescribed fee. The late fee shall accompany the application.
